FOR WHOM: Educators or those preparing to be teachers who need to pass the PRAXIS II PLT exam to meet State of Ohio Licensure Requirements.

WHAT: Preparation is geared for those interested in taking the PRAXIS II Learning and Teaching Test on June 12, 2004. This OSU Workshop does not include the ETS test fee. You can review the ETS PRAXIS test registration requirements at www.ets.org/praxis. A paper copy of ETS registration material will be provided.

• Outline the PLT subject matter content necessary to pass the exam
• Use test-taking strategies to get you ready
• Simulate a practice test taking situation with feedback

WHO: Sessions facilitated by Lowell Hedges, Ph.D., Ohio State University Professor Emeritus, Agricultural Education. He is a master educator who has supervised and coached many beginning career-technical teachers for over 20 years!

COST: $150, including materials and lunch

AGENDA: Morning—Review Praxis II PLT and test-taking strategies
Afternoon—Simulate taking the 2-hour test and review results
